This time, we are introducing a case of a long, narrow shape measuring 430x20mm, with a bead drawing applied over a length of 400mm. The bead drawing had a width of 2.7mm and a length of 400mm, but since the dimensional tolerances other than the drawing height and the requirements for the convex part's R shape were lenient, a dedicated stacked mold was manufactured and processed. Although there were concerns about warping due to the additional bead drawing on the elongated shape, we were able to meet the warping limit condition of 0.5 max by incorporating a process to remove strain. This time, we are introducing a case where multiple V-bending techniques were combined to meet strict tolerance requirements. Due to the constraint of "no inner R on the bend," after V-bending with a sharp-edged mold, bottoming was performed with a dedicated mold. By adding this process, we minimized the inner R of the bend to the extreme and reduced variation in bending. This time, we will introduce a case of precision sheet metal processing that includes a small-diameter bar ring tap. There was a specification for an M2 bar ring on a 1.0mm thick A5052 plate. Due to its small diameter and slender shape, it is prone to breaking, so extreme caution is required during processing. In this case, the bar ring tap was located adjacent to a bend and was in a position where it could interfere with the shape. Since there was a risk of it being crushed if processed before bending, the bar ring tap processing was carried out after bending.
